Haifa

 The Bahai Gardens (the central terrace). The Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris, the German colony, the observation deck on Mount Carmel make the city attractive for tourists. Bahai Gardens form part of the Bahai World Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a place for pilgrimage. At the bottom of the gardens is Haifa’s German Colony, with its pretty streets of restored templar-era buildings. The main street of the German Colony runs direct from the bottom of the gardens towards the coast and is lined with restaurants and cafes.
